On May 11, 2012, the topping out ceremony was held for the research and training center for culture and computer science on Wilhelminenhof campus of Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) Berlin (University of Applied Sciences).

Congratulations to Marcel Karsten who was award as best undergraduate student at Applied Computer Science (B) at the commencement at HTW Berlin today.
Marcel Karsten wrote his bachelor thesis on the topic “Development of a sensor-based system for autonomous analysis of parking on the roadside in a moving vehicle” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Sieck and Eileen Kuehn in 2011 and worked as a student assistant of the POSEIDON project.

Wir gratulieren Herrn Andreas Bilke, Mitarbeiter im HardMut II Projekt, der heute sein Studium der Angewandten Informatik an der Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) Berlin mit dem Master of Science erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat. The programme of the 10th conference of the »Culture and Computer Science« series entitled »From Past to Future« is published at inka.htw-berlin.de/kui. It takes part at the Pergamon Museum in Berlin on May 10, and 11, 2012. Online registration is also available at the conference website; early bird discount is available before the end of March.

Two years ago, Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) Berlin, University of Applied Sciences, moved to Wilhelminenhof campus. Now there arises a new building. Next to the Spree river the first stone for the Culture and Computer Science Research Center is laid.
